RRN, in collaboration with several like-minded civil society organisations, is actively involved in policy advocacy, lobbying, networking and campaigning in various issues at national, regional and global levels. RRN is mainly focused on issues like, rights of the child, human trafficking, right to food/food sovereignty, human rights, women’s rights, climate justice and tax justice at national level in association with respective national networks such as, National Network on Right to Food, Nepal (RtFN), Alliance Against Trafficking in Women and Children (AATWIN), National Coalition for Children as Zones of Peace and Child Protection (CZOPP) and Campaign for Climate Justice, Nepal (CCJN).

Similarly, it is intensively engaged in advocacy, lobbying and campaigns activities on the issues like, rights of the Least Development Countries (LDCs), development effectiveness, illegitimate debt cancelation, fair trade, social protection, women's right, demilitarisation, democratisation and social justice in partnership with South Asia Alliance for Poverty Eradication (SAAPE), Asia Pacific Movement on Debt and Development (APMDD), LDC Watch, Social Watch, CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness (CPDE) and Third World Network at regional and global levels.

RRN also regional secretariat of SAAPE, People's SAARC and international secretariat of LDC Watch.
