Project Summary

With the financial aid of BROT Smallholder’s Empowerment by Entrepreneurship (in Agriculture) Development in Dolakha, Nepal - “SEED" is ongoing in 10 villages (8 former VDCs) of Dolakha. SEED is a complementary project to CILRREN with four new working areas (3 wards of SRM or 2 former VDC). The project is contributing to poverty reduction of smallholders and addresses livelihood promotion, and food security while focusing on women’s empowerment, resilience against climate change, and adaptation.

Objective:

Objective 1: Marginalized earthquake affected targeted HHs (Households) in the 6 VDCs practiced diversified agriculture and improved their livelihoods

Objective 2: Marginalized earthquake-affected target HHs in the 6 VDCs increased their community-based disaster preparedness.
