Project Summary:

RRN is implementing the Locally-Led Nature Conservation Project (LNCP) as a small-scale pilot initiative in the buffer zone of Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park. The project promotes community-led biodiversity conservation by addressing forest fires, human-wildlife conflict, and unsustainable resource use, while supporting NTFP and agroforestry-based livelihoods. Supported by the Keidanren Nature Conservation Fund (KNCF), the project directly benefits over 3,000 people.
