1. Invitation for Bids

We invite sealed bids from interested Individuals, firms, or organizations for the purchase of the following Jeeps on an “as-is-where-is” basis.

3. Bid Submission Instructions

• Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid for Vehicles Purchase”.
• The bidder must specify the bid amount in Nepali Rupees.
• Bidders may submit bids for only one or Both Vehicles. 
• Bids must be submitted by 22 Shrawan 2083 before 2:00 p.m. at Rural Reconstruction Nepal, Central Office, Gairidhara, Kathmandu, Nepal.
• A bid security of 5 percent of the quoted amount should be deposited in following bank Account number and voucher should be submitted along with bid. Bid security of unsuccessful bidder shall be refunded.

4. Bid Evaluation

• The Vehicles will be sold to the highest responsive bidder(s).
• The selling authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason.

 

5. Inspection

Interested bidders may inspect the Jeeps during office hours from 05 Shrawan 2083 till 22 Shrawan 2083 at Rural Reconstruction Nepal, Central Office, Gairidhara, Kathmandu, Nepal. Contact [contact person’s Mr. Kishor Kumar Sigdel 9841684867] for coordination.

6. Payment and Handover

• Full payment must be made within [7 working days] of bid acceptance.
• The handover will be done after full payment and submission of valid identification and transfer documents.

7. Terms and Conditions

• • Only offers received within the closing date and time will be evaluated. RRN does not take any warranty and guarantee of vehicles.
  • Vehicles shall not be sold below their minimum valuation.

• The offers will be evaluated based on the highest evaluated bid. All costs during ownership transfer process including road tax, vehicle tax, insurance and other charges shall be borne by the selected bidder. The highest bidder be invited to buy the vehicle/s via email and phone. If s/he does not want to buy the vehicles in the given period, the second highest bidder will be invited to buy. If the highest bidder fails to complete the purchase of the vehicle(s) within the specified period, the bid security shall be forfeited.

 

8. Bid opening date and Time- The bids shall be opened at 11:00 AM on the next day after the bid submission deadline in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives. If the bid opening day happens to be a public holiday, the bids shall be opened at the same time on the next working day.
